Embassy receives two baseballs signed by the Giants and the Royals

two signed baseballsIn recognition of our embassy’s sports programming, particularly the success of the Baseball and Friendship program, the Embassy of the United States in Caracas was among the few fortunate ones to receive two baseballs signed by the 2014 World Series players.

The Major League Baseball (MLB) presented us with baseballs signed by the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas Royals.

Players from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Japan, the United States, and Venezuela signed the baseballs.  Seven Venezuelans took part in the 2014 World Series – the greatest number of Venezuelans that have ever participated.
