During his speech in Havana, with his Cuban counterpart President Raul Castro, President Barack Obama responded to questions on various issues of bilateral and regional interest. Of Venezuela, he said, “I believe that the whole region has an interest in a country that is addressing its economic challenges, is responsive to the aspirations of its people, and is a source of stability in the region.
